New seedlings

Planted out some scorpion and Early Girl tomatoes tonight - shallower than the last set so hopefully no more damping off issues.

Damping off?

I'm losing some of the seedlings - I guess it is damping off and I may be overwatering - but I cannot tell if they are wilting in the heat from lack of water!

Sprayed them with some Kasumin fungicide today - hope it helps.

Will spray the bushes around the storeroom later with some Fastac to try to control the whitefly there.

More scorpion

Seeing some activity from the scorpion trays at last! we are now up to 4 esedlings - not quite what I expected but still an improvement. The pimentos are doing a lot better.

First scorpion

The first scorpion seedling emerged this morning - I was starting to worry that I had killed them all by leaving them in the van for a few days but hopefully I'll see a lot more in the next few days.

No scorpion yet

No scorpion seedlings yet - did I plant them too deep? I don't think that they dried out on me and died. The first 3 seedlings of the cayenne and 1 of the watermelon are evident in those crates so maybe I just need a little more patience.

False alarm

The first sprout is still by its lonesome - but it is not pepper! It is a cucumber seedling from a seed that must have been left in the potting mix.

Now plan to use Scorpion in cascade. The 7pod in Mayaro appear to be suffering from Mosaic virus.

The first sprout has appeared in one of the seedling trays - on its own for now but expect more soon.

Fungicide

Applied some Kocide on Saturday at a concentration of 2.5g / 500ml water in the spray bottle - each tray got about 220 ml. Hope that this controls any fungus issues.

Seeds set

I set two crates of the 7pod seeds between 18th - 19th. I used seeds from the peppers behind the booth in Mayaro - universally reported as excrutiatingly hot. I noticed some fungal growth in the potting mix that had stayed in the container.
